Teen Lok – Part 4

Discussing Sumeru Parvat

Sudarshan Meru – Sumeru Parvat is the Base of separation of 3 Lok. Everything above Meru Parvat is urdhva lok also called as Swarg. Everything below Meru Parvat is adho lok also called Narak.

Sumeru is 99040 Yojan in height from ground. 1000 yojan deep in ground so extends till Chitra prithvi exists. All samudra are within Chitra prithvi. All mountains have their foundation in Chitra. So Chitra prithvi is in Madhyalok and adho lok is below it.

Ruchak pradesh: Central area

If we have linear distance with even number of length then we have 2 central points. If it is a square then it has 4 central ponits. If we take a cubical volume then we have 8 central points.

When there is Kevali samudghat, aatma spreads in every aakash region. So the centre of lokakash which has 8 regions will become 8 regions of centre of aatma. 4 regions are in Madhya lok in Chitra prithvi and 4 regions are in adho lok in Vajra prithvi.

Note: There are no special properties of this place. Just a physical area.

Madhya Lok:

100040 yojan in height. Top view of Madhyalok is a square of 1Raju x 1Raju. Looks like concentric circles of islands and oceans. 1st island in middle is called Jambu Dweep. Last ocean is called Swayambhu Raman. Last island is called Swayambhu Dweep.

Sumeru parvat is at the Centre of Jambudweep. At the ground level, we have a forest called Bhadrasaal Van. Going 500 yojan up from ground level, there is a cut in mountain and in that groove there is a forest called Nandan Van. Going 62500 yojan up from Nandan Van there is again cut of 500 yojan radius and a forest there is called Soumnas Van. Going 36000 height from Soumnas Van there is a forest called Panduk Van. Panduk Van is 99000 yojan from ground. Small conical mountain top of 12 yojan radius and 40 yojan height at the top. There are 4 Temples in each Forest at each direction. So there are total 16 mountains in Sumeru. At 45 degree angles from each direction, there are Shila/Plates on corners.

  1. Panduk Shila
  2. Panduk kambala shila
  3. Rakt shila
  4. Rakt kambala shila

Tirthankar Janmabhishek takes place in these Shila.

  • Bharat kshetra – panduk shila.
  • Paschim Videh kshetra – panduk kambala
  • Airavat kshetra – Rakt Shila
  • Purva Videh kshetra – Rakt kambala shila

Shila dimensions:
Length = 100 yojan
Width = 50 yojan
Height = 8 yojan

There are 3 asan on it. Middle one is called singhasan. Other 2 are called bhadrasan. Tirthankar are placed on singhasan and abhishek is done with 1008 kalash. Kalash is of 8 yojan depth (size of 96km depth 12 km radius of mouth for some tirthankar due to time related size). Size is defined by Aatmangul. Water is brought from 5th Ksheer Samudra. All oceans after dhai dweep and before swayambhu samudra have bhog bhoomi areas. So there are no aquatic life forms. Hence the water is already clean.

At the topmost hilltop called chulika, height 40 yojan. Radius at base 12 yojan. Radius at top 4 yojan. This top is of blue colour.

Till 61 thousand yojan from baseit is made of gem stones. 38000 yojan from that is made of gold.
